Streaming media heavyweight RealNetworks Inc. revealed its support for SMIL Boston, the latest draft of the Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language (SMIL) standard. RealNetworks' support means that users of the more than 1 million RealSystem G2 authoring tools and more than 50,000 free RealSystem G2 servers will be able to tap into the benefits of the new draft standard.
